Who is Jesus ?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of humanity, Jesus is the incarnation of God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. He is both fully divine and fully human, having taken on human flesh through the miraculous event known as the Incarnation.

Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus taught about the kingdom of God, performed miracles, healed the sick, and demonstrated God's love and compassion for humanity. He preached a message of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God, calling people to follow Him in faith.

The climax of Jesus' earthly mission was His sacrificial death on the cross. He willingly offered Himself as a perfect and sinless sacrifice to pay the penalty for the sins of humanity. Through His death, Jesus atoned for our sins, satisfying God's justice and offering forgiveness and reconciliation with God to all who believe in Him.

Three days after His crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death. His resurrection validates His identity as the Son of God and provides the basis for the Christian hope of eternal life.

After His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven, where He Sits at the right hand of the father reigning as Lord and Savior. He intercedes for believers and offers the gift of salvation to all who sincerely place their faith in Him.

Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life with God in heaven. He is described as the way, the truth, and the life, and it is through Him alone that humanity can be reconciled to God and receive the gift of eternal life.

Throughout history, Jesus has inspired countless individuals with His teachings of love, compassion, and self-sacrifice. His life, death, and resurrection continue to be central to the Christian faith, serving as the foundation of our faith & the source of hope for believers around the world.

What is Salvation & why do I need it ?

Salvation is the divine act of God rescuing humanity from sin and its consequences, offering the opportunity for forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life with Him. It is the central message of the Christian faith, rooted in God's love and grace towards mankind.

We need salvation because we are all affected by sin. Sin separates us from God, our Creator, and leads to spiritual death. No matter how hard we try to live morally or do good deeds, we cannot save ourselves from the penalty of sin on our own. Our best efforts fall short of God's perfect standard.

  • Romans 3:23-24 (NKJV): "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,"

  • Romans 6:23 (NKJV): "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

However, God loves us deeply and desires a relationship with us. So, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our sins by dying on the cross. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death, offering us forgiveness and new life.

To receive salvation, we must acknowledge our need for a Savior, repent of our sins, and place our trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It's not about religious rituals or good works but about a personal relationship with Jesus. It is important to remember that works come after salvation as faith without works is dead but those works are not what gets you to heaven.

  • Acts 4:12 (NKJV): "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

  • Romans 5:8 (NKJV): "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

  • 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NKJV): "Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV): "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

If you're ready to accept Jesus as your Savior and receive the gift of salvation, you can pray a prayer like this:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and saving me. Help me to live for You from this day forward. In Your name, I pray. Amen."
